Wendy Widmann is nightmare of an attorney!! She was hired based on the advice of my divorce attorney and is a total waste of valuable money. Wish I had read the reviews before hiring her. Wendy Widmann is RUDE, DISMISSIVE, DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL. Her written communication is flippant and la...cks direction. Her written communication is flippant and lacks direction. She is lacking in her telephone manners—and is an arrogant interrupter who talks over you during conversations. She provided insufficient guidance while working on my case. She needs to retire since she doesn’t seem to have a soul for helping clients. I WOULD NOT recommend her services to anyone. Be warned and find yourself a better attorney!!!!

I hired her per my lawyer and it has taken her 8 months to get my money and I still dont have it. She is rude, nasty and never returns calls. She tried to unscrupulously represent me and the ex and she did! Then I questioned weather that is ethically sound she told me not to contact her anymore. F...iling a grievance with the state of maryland today! She is shady and unprofessional!

I hired her at my divorce attorney's suggestion. She deposited my check but failed to communicate with me. When I"demanded" she communicate with me. She resigned. That was a blessing in disguise because I was able to hire a reputable firm. But of course my ex things I'm to blame - Oh well, nothi...ng new there. Do your own investigation rather than going along with recommendation.

I must have had a different lawyer with this name. She was recommended by 5 other attorneys as the best and she was great. She always returned my phone calls within a day or so (I do not use email much but I do know to check my spam folder and to call if I do not get a timely reply). And she got t...he QDRO turned around the same day she got my case. The only delays came from my ex, the plan and the court. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a QDRO.

I paid Miss Widmann to take care of two QDROs. One went through. The other was denied because Miss Widmann told me to change and initial an error (on my part) on the original document. I did inform Miss Widmann of my error and her response was that it had already been mailed - just change, initial..., etc. Since receiving the denial, I have emailed Miss Widmann twice with no response. Like the previous reviewer, I am also out money which was paid up front. My advice would be to steer clear of this firm - especially Miss Widmann as she apparently doesn't care about her clients or her reputation.
