Jimi Kolawole

I am a cross-functional attorney with excellent backgrounds in the 3 areas that every 21st-century business organization needs legal advice: Corporate-Business & Tax law, Intellectual Property law, and Cyber Security law.

Unlike the typical attorney with a one-dimensional practice, my diverse academic background in tax law and software engineering uniquely positions me to deliver excellent legal services to my clients.  I have an LL.M in Tax degree from Georgetown University.  I worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a Student Attorney while in law school.  I am also a registered patent attorney with experience as a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office. I have over 15 years of experience developing software for the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corp, Schlumberger, General Dynamics, etc. In other words, I am an attorney that understands and speaks C++, C, C#, Java, and php as well as the law.
