About me

Nicolas Orechwa practices family law litigation at the firm of Brodsky, Renehan, Pearlstein, & Bouquet. He joined the firm as an Associate in 2006, bringing litigation and trial experience in matters of domestic violence and child abuse. Mr. Orechwa is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Louisiana, and the District of Columbia.

Born in Joliet, Illinois, Mr. Orechwa received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa in 1997 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of New Orleans in 2001. Following his graduation, he served as a prosecutor in the New Orleans District Attorney's Office where, over the course of three years, he tried over 30 jury trials, many of which involved cases of domestic violence and child abuse. He then worked as a contractor with the Office of the Inspector General for the Department of Defense and later, the Central Legal Staff of the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals in Washington D.C.
