I have represented hundreds of law enforcement officers and others in Maryland in workers compensation cases over the last 36 years. I have presented thousands of cases to the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission and have taken many, many cases to jury trial and to the Courts of Appeal with great success. What sets my practice apart from others is the personal service I provide every officer - everyone gets a call back the same day and a great amount of time is spent to explain rights and responsibilities under the law. Indeed, I travel around the state extensively providing seminars to local, county and state police departments and the officer's unions on police officer's rights under the workers compensation law. I am often asked to return regularly - and do so. I am also privileged to sponsor charitable events involving law enforcement - and I participate in them frequently.

Not a day goes by without a significant issue in a police workers compensation case coming across my desk. And I respond - that day. My advertising is essentially by personal recommendation - word of mouth -  which, in my opinion, is the best recommendation any attorney can ever receive. I am frequently consulted by other attorneys to provide an opinion on workers compensation issues and have served as a Court-appointed mediator for many years involving workers compensation appeals. I am requested by both parties frequently and have a resolution rate of over 95%. I don't need to represent every police officer in Maryland - only the ones that want the very best service and the most dedication to getting the very best results. I tell my clients - if you ever need me -  pick up the phone - I'll be there. I mean that. Representing law enforcement is not a job - it is a privilege that I take very seriously - every day.
