He is a member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians and a founding member and current Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Nonprofit Organizations & Executives (NANOE). He is trained in several other concentrations that give him a well-developed understanding of the law, people, business, the church, organizational development, and the nonprofit sectors.
He is a dedicated ordained Seventh-day Adventist minister with more than four decades of distinguished leadership experience serving small and large congregations, hospital boards, committees at every church level and in conference leadership positions. He is the first to serve as in-house counsel to the Florida Hospital and as in-house General Counsel of a Seventh-day Adventist regional conference in the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. His diverse expertise and passion for helping pastors grow churches they love to lead have equipped him with a vision and a strategy for growing God’s church in these uncertain times. He is the author of Retaining the Harvest: How to Attract, Engage, and Keep the People Who Join Your Ministry and the creator of the Retaining the Harvest Master Class™. He enjoys helping pastor grow churches they love to lead.
Attorney Doggette is a man of diverse interests outside his professional life. He enjoys reading, writing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and Trek road bike, and performing on his soprano and tenor saxophones. He is very happily married and they share three wonderful adult children.
