Thomas M McCartin

Tom McCartin maintains the highest and strictest standards when it comes to his clients and the law. He makes every effort to be responsive, dedicated, and thorough.  His goal is to provide the most cost effective representation available.

Mr. McCartin has more than 40 years experience representing a wide range of individuals, professionals and small business owners primarily in the fields of estate planning and administration, elder law, taxation, probate, will contests, and business formation. He practices throughout suburban Maryland and in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and Maryland Law School. He was an Associate Editor of the Tax Lawyer. He is a former Chairman of the Montgomery County (Maryland) Bar Association Section on Estates and Trusts. He is also a member of the Maryland and DC Bar Sections on Estates and Trusts and Taxation. In the community, he has served as President of the Rockville Jaycees, Chairman of the Upcounty Citizens Advisory Board and as member of other community boards, including presently the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce. He frequently lectures on estate planning and tax topics.
