Rachel Elizabeth Coll

Rachel lets compassion, creativity and precise attention to detail guide her approach to the practice of law.  She believes these three elements are the basics for providing legal counsel of the highest caliber, and, particularly when working in the areas of personal injury or criminal law, these elements help clients feel less intimidated and overwhelmed.  A joy for learning and listening drives Rachel to prioritize building trust with clients through understanding their needs, concerns and goals.

As an associate in the personal injury department, Rachel concentrates her practice on protecting the rights of, and pursuing justice for, accident victims.  In addition, she handles criminal law matters, including DUI and traffic violations.

Before Stein Sperling, Rachel worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the State’s Attorney’s Office for Baltimore City. In that role, she handled felony cases involving violent crime and special victims before juries and judges in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.  Rachel also served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Gang Prosecution Unit of the State’s Attorney’s Office for Montgomery County.

Outside the office, Rachel enjoys running, traveling in the U.S. and abroad, and the arts – primarily ballet and theater.
