If it were not for my lawyer, Bob Clayton, I would have never been able to go forward with my divorce. His understanding of abuse gave me the courage to follow through with what was the scariest thing to date I ever experienced. Everything was new to me in the court system and I was easily overwh...elmed at times. Somehow Bob could sense when I had enough or was unable to communicate. He stood in the gap for me and this was not an easy task, as I at times could not even formulate what I wanted. Bob was stern when needed and gentle and comforting when necessary. Even when mistakes were made, as with this type of journey, cannot be helped, Bob was reassuring and walked me through all the different scenarios that could happen. I felt safe, protected and in good hands with Bob and am grateful to be able to move on with confidence in my life ahead.
