Hass Bashir

Hass Bashir founded the Law Offices of Hass Bashir in 2010. The Maryland-based firm currently has offices in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. Before starting his own legal practice, Hass worked for Judge David Sawyer at the Michigan Court of Appeals and Judge Inez Smith Reid at the Washington D.C. Court of Appeals.

Hass begin his career practicing real estate, insurance and bankruptcy law.  He continues to represent clients in complicated Bankruptcy Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 cases. Hass is well known for his foreclosure defense work, as he has represented dozens of clients in conducting loan modifications, short-sales, and foreclosure defense proceedings.   He has attended and negotiated several settlements either before Maryland’s Office of Administrative Hearing (OAH) or directly with the lender. He represents clients in personal injury and real estate property insurance claims.  Subsequently, he engaged in Family Law related matters where he represented clients in divorce proceedings and guardianships. Hass has successfully obtained millions of dollars in settlements.

Hass’ practice area expanded to represent corporate clients in expansion of medical practices, corporate litigation, and commercial transactions.   Hass only represents corporate clients in EB5 Immigration or H1 visa processes. He is a committed member of the community and frequently represents the profit and non-profit associations.  He is also a member of Maryland Bar Association, American Bar Association, Maryland Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court of Maryland.
