Alexander K. Anderson

I am an African American male who has 50% shared custodial and legal but I have tie breaking decision making. My ex-wife sole mission has been to overturn that original court decision. We have been in a very litigious custody battle for the past 5 years and I have utilized multiple attorneys and leg...al services. My ex had decided once again to attempt to change custody through modification (her 3nd time filing for a mod). The previous attorney I utilized informed me that she has changed her practice to handling only appeals. She offered a referral for Alex Anderson to handle my modification. He was very stern and persuasive and informed her attorney that if they were willing to dismiss the case, we would accept. He also explained that if they moved forward with the case, it would not be wise, and we would press for full custody. Whatever was said in that conversation obviously resonated with my ex and her attorney because the next day, they dismissed the case. Once the case was dismissed, Mr. Anderson returned the remainder of my retainer and told me that if I experienced any other issues, he would gladly represent me again. Mr. Anderson not only advocated for the best interest of my children, he was able to stop my ex from taking me to court for the 8th time. Alex was very knowledgeable about the court system as well as issues pertaining to family law.
