William Patrick Cannon III

My practice is focused on representation of landlords and property managers of residential and commercial real estate. This representation encompasses all aspects of the leasing business, including litigation. In addition to landlord representation, I handle general business matters, including business formation, advising and labor & employment matters. I also handle complex litigation matters of all types, including business disputes, insurance coverage matters and medical malpractice & personal injury cases.

Prior to practicing law, I spent 8 months clerking for the Chief Judge at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

I obtained my J.D. from Catholic University's Columbus School of Law at night while teaching at Gonzaga College High School. During law school, I also clerked at two small, highly regarded firms in the Washington, D.C. area (Furey, Doolan & Abell and Stein, Mitchell & Muse).

Prior to attending law school, I obtained an M.F.A. in Poetry at the University of Maryland.
