Marcie Brecher joined West & Feinberg as an associate in 2013.
Ms. Brecher concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration.
Ms. Brecher began her career in the charitable arena, working for over a decade as a major gift officer for national non-profit organizations. In this capacity, she discussed various philanthropic giving vehicles, including legacy gifts and charitable trusts, with individuals and families.
Ms. Brecher received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, her M.A. in international economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and her B.A. from Duke University.
In law school, she was the Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law. Ms. Brecher received the Steven J. Mandell Scholarship Award in May 2011 from the Maryland State Bar Association Business Law Section for outstanding performance in business law coursework. Ms. Brecher is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
