Phenomenal attorney with lots patience and knowedgle!

I came to the US on J1 physician visa and then was granted hardship waiver based on medical grounds for my US born child. During my J to H change, I got into major immigration trouble due to mistakes by my attorney and my employer. Thats when I was told about Maggio+Kattar. I was introduced to Ms Qui...nn by attorney Jan Pederson as her "superstar" colleague. And Infact, Ms Quinn is superstar! She is extremely knowledgeable. I was going through lots of issues last year with my immigration, jobs etc. Ms Quinn, was extremely patient with me! I sent as many as 10 mails in a day! I always got prompt replies and her team always responded with the most satisfactory answer. I always felt that my case for EB1A was reasonably strong, but nothing is a guarantee. When I got in touch with Ms Quinn, I had already paid close to USD 2500 to another attorney ( who is well known for EB1 petitions and gives money back guarantee if your EB1 doesn't get approved). But after my first call with Ms Quinn, I had no doubts that she is the best. I got my EB1 done in an expeditious manner. Her team members are amazing!!! Fiona, Josh and Jennifer, all are amazing people. very helpful! If they can tolerate my tonnes of mails in a day then I am sure they can handle everything. I can't explain in words that my EB1A got approved without any RFE. All credit goes to Ms Quinn and her team. They are my to go person for all my immigration needs. Their knowledge is par excellence. They know everything about immigration. Very supportive, helpful and professional staff. I would strongly recommend Ms Quinn for all the physicians who are out there looking for attorneys for their immigration needs. Go to them without even thinking twice! They are simply the best!

Exceptional immigration attorney

Elizabeth has done a stellar job with my EA1 application. Having spoken to three attorneys about my case prior to contacting Maggio+Kattar, I had received mixed feedback that left me confused and skeptical about eligibility requirements in the EA-1 category. I have to say that what Elizabeth had done..., starting from our first 60-minute phone call and every step of the entire arduous process of preparing the application, is beyond phenomenal. My emails were answered right on time, substantively, and with a touch of patience and experience that just gives one the piece of mind one needs so badly when dealing with one of the most backlogged and unpredictable federal agencies in the country. The I-140 petition got approved within 5 months and without a squeak. When the adjustment of status application got stuck in security checks and USCIS got slow renewing my EAD cards, which resulted in a local DMV office refusing to renew my driver's license, Elizabeth prepared a packet supplemented with the relevant regulations that educated the DMV office on the impermissibility of their refusal to issue the license based on the approved H1B visa. I am being objective when I say that if you need an immigration attorney, do yourself a favor look no further!

Outstanding EB1-EA immigration attorney

I have no words to describe the exceptional expertise, professionalism and quality of service that Elizabeth and her team has provided at every step of the EB1-EA process. Elizabeth and her partners at Maggio-Kattar are the most approachable and knowledgeable immigration attorneys that I have worked ...with. Her personal attention and responsiveness set a very high bar for other immigration attorneys to match. My interactions with Elizabeth have always been extremely pleasant – she treats me with respect, listens to my concerns/input with attention and patience, gathers her team and makes notes at every meeting, values my opinion and provides outstanding guidance based on decades of experience. In my opinion, these are the qualities that you need in an attorney to handle a complicated petition such as EB1-EA. Open communication is the key since the petition relies on very specialized information about your profession and your only hope for success is an attorney willing to put in his/her time in understanding your case. I was very skeptical of hiring a new attorney, having had bad experience with another law firm which pretty much prepared a ‘cookie cutter’ EB1 petition without much regard to my input. I had great experience with another attorney at Maggio-Kattar so I decided to consult with Elizabeth about EB1EA petition. From our very first conversation I was confident that if anyone can get my EB1 approved, it would be Elizabeth. Under Elizabeth’s direct supervision, her staff did a terrific job in reviewing thousands of pages of evidence and putting it together as a concise but highly effective petition. The letters that she drafted were top notch and insightful. Even when I lost hope with a dreadful RFE, she deftly navigated me through the response process and the petition was finally approved. She gave me confidence and guided me with her personal attention. I could not have got this approval without Elizabeth and her outstanding team. It is a privilege to have her as my attorney and I highly recommend her for EB1 petitions and other immigration matters.

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
