Estate Planning 25%

I work with U.S. and international clients to design and implement a tax efficient estate plan to pass business and other assets to intended beneficiaries under the terms and conditions the clients desire. My clients include married couples with young children, individuals with children from different marriages, single individuals, business owners, individuals who are not U.S. citizens or who have foreign business or personal assets.

I prepare all trusts needed to implement an estate plan, including revocable trusts and a full range of tax saving irrevocable trusts, paying careful attention to the selection of trustees and trust protectors, the purposes for which trust assets may be used, and the need for flexibility in irrevocable trusts.

Tax 15%

Reducing gift, estate and generation skipping transfer taxes allows individuals to transmit additional wealth to future generations when combined effectively with business succession planning, asset protection and careful consideration of family dynamics. Ever changing tax laws, however, require periodic review of existing estate plans.

Estate Planning and Estate Execution

Deborah (Debbie) Cohn set up an estate plan several years ago for my wife and I. It was well thought out, detailed and allowed us to maximize the estate transfer to our children. When my wife died, I was surprised by the time and effort t required to execute my wife's estate, even with all the... legal documents in place. Debbie stepped in and, with her assistant, did most of the estate work. Her knowledge and legal skills made this task much easier. Subsequently, Debbie has revised my estate plan. She stays up to date on legal changes that may affect my estate plan and assures that I consider them as needed. In summary; Debbie has excellent legal skills and is a delight to work with. Thanks, George Dailey
