Evan C. Wilt

Evan Wilt is an Associate at Powers & Worshtil, P.C., where he supports the firm’s work in estate planning, probate, and estate litigation. Evan brings a unique background to the legal practice, combining experience in journalism, real estate, and client service.

Evan earned his law degree from George Mason University, where he concentrated in Tax Law and served as a member of the George Mason Law Review. During law school, he externed for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Austin, Texas, and worked with a Virginia estate planning firm. He holds a B.A. in Communication and Business from Geneva College.

Prior to law school, Evan worked as a journalist in Washington, D.C., and later as an operations director at a residential real estate firm, assisting clients with buying and selling homes across the DMV.

When not working, Evan is most likely cooking or chasing after his small children.
