Generally, disability cannot be garnished. But the fact that she doesn't have the money to pay the medical bills isn't a defense to a collection...

Your credit report is not proof of anything other than what a creditor may have reported. Lots of debt isn't reported at all on credit...

There is nothing wrong or unusual about debt being resold, or the purchaser suing you. I'm not sure what you feel was "false" about this.
