I hate to even give her 1 star. I hired her 23 years ago for custody and child support, she was phenomenal at that time. Years later as I find myself going through another divorce and custody battle, I figured I'd hire again. WORST MISTAKE EVER! She was quite embarrassing in the courtroom to say the... least. She would doze off, pass gas, fumble through papers while the judge waits, she talked like she was drunk, the list goes on. My divorce was a bit lengthy for other reasons but in short... 5 years into this and going back and forth to court the judge ended up dismissing the whole case because she failed for the 3rd time to submit paperwork before court dates, and she was warned by the judge. 5 years and THOUSANDS of dollars down the tubes for absolutely nothing. Wait... I take that back, I lost my house, I lost custody of my kids, and I pay a lot in child support. The other reviewer is correct in that she doesn't return phone calls or emails and she's hard to get ahold of. She would alao get my case confused with someone else's as well. I ended up firing her and hired a new, much better lawyer and was divorced within a year later. I wish I would've done it sooner. Please represent yourself before you hire Monica, you'd be better off!

I should of done more research on her before hiring her. She is the absolute worse to deal with. She doesn't respond to phone calls or emails ever. I have caught her in numerous lies. She filed things late for my case. Half the time she didn't know what she was talking about or was confusing my c...ase with others (if she even had others). Thank God I abandoned ship before it sunk completely. Trust me, she may be a little cheaper than others, but you get what you pay for and she is not worth a dime. Spend a little extra and get a good lawyer from the start or unfortunately like me you will find out the hard way after spending to much money on her and getting nothing from her in return. I just wish I had known before she damaged my case.

I hired this "attorney" to try to attain full custody of my children, living with a drug addict , and ended up with less custody than I wasoffered at the pre-trial mediation. She was unbelievable. What should have been a four hour trial turned into eight since we had to keep waking her up, she only... admitted 2 of my pieces of evidence (I had dozens), offered higher child support to my ex without consulting me, the list goes on. Avoid at all costs for family law.

Utterly useless. Caused more damage to my case than helped. Dozed off at the hearing several times. Asked the judge repeatedly for "the courts indulgence" while she fumbled through paperwork that should have already been prepared. Would have been laughable if she wasn't working for me. I wish my ex h...ad hired her. I would have cleaned up in court. Needless to say I lost miserably due to her incompetence. I wish I could vote negative stars. One star is more than she deserves.
