Biography
Raised in Calvert County from the age of one, David joined Davis, Upton, Palumbo & Dougherty, LLC following a year clerking for the Honorable Marjorie L. Clagett, Associate Judge of the Circuit Court for Calvert County.
A 2010 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, David was an Articles Editor on Volume 98 of the Kentucky Law Journal, as well as a member of the Moot Court Board. David earned his undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from Washington & Lee University, where he was a member and Philanthropy Chair of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and frequently anchored the school’s news program, The Rockbridge Report.
David is the chairman of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee and also sits on the Calvert County Economic Development Committee and the Patuxent Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors. He is a member of the Prince Frederick Rotary Club, the Southern Maryland Inn of Court, the Maryland Bar, and the Calvert County Bar Association.
David currently resides in Chesapeake Beach. During his free time he enjoys boating, golfing and skiing.
