Biography
I am currently an attorney with the Federal Communications Commission, Office of General Counsel. Prior to this position, I served for about six years in the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of General Counsel, Division of General Law. Prior to my employment with DHS, I was employed for sixteen years by the Office of Associate Chief Counsel (General Legal Services), Internal Revenue Service in various offices and positions. That service was broken very briefly for six months of service with the Office of General Counsel, Division of Administrative Law, Federal Communications Commission. Most of my Government service has been spent practicing in general government issues and matters, including, but not limited to, government contracts, fiscal law, and Federal ethics. Prior to government service, I was employed for five years by large and small private law firms in Washington, D.C., practicing in diverse areas, including government contract fraud defense work and telecommunications regulation.
