Biography
My practice is exclusively in the areas of Family Law, Family Mediation, and Collaborative Practice Family Law. I have practiced in Northern Virginia since 1979, adding mediation to my practice in 1980 and collaborative practice in 2009. I have been rated as AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell since 2001, and was also named by them as a "Top Lawyer in the Washington D.C. Baltimore Area in December, 2015. As a mediator I am a member of the national Professional Mediation Board of Standards of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators. I have created a website to promote alternatives to litigation in Family Law, . A number of articles by me, as well as my weekly newsletters, are posted on this website.
