Mark Williams represented me recently in a case and did an excellent job. In order to clear my arrest record of unfounded charges, I gave sworn testimony before the Circuit Court Judge. I was accused of stalking and Mr. Williams never got the statement my accuser filed, so when we went into court we didn't even know what she had said. I only found out later that it was possible to attain that statement and I went up to the courthouse and got it myself! At court he advised me to ta...ke the deal that was offered of no contact for a year and then dismissal. I took it and I only found out recently that because there was a condition on the dismissal, the arrest for stalking will probably not be available for expungement but will be on my record forever. I never would have done this if I had known. The case was a total farce by the way as I had letters, for example, from her saying she wished we would be married etc. from just a week before the breakup, and I did absolutely nothing wrong. I was not pleased with the way I was treated personally, to say the least, in addition to all of this.
