Jennifer missed deadlines she set herself and never followed-up to provide a new deadline or give a status update. I had to send numerous emails, and make numerous phone calls and she would sound annoyed that a paying client asked for an update for the missed deadlines she set herself and never comm...unicated a new deadline. I was charged for every follow-up email/phone call I made to Jennifer requesting a status update for when work could be expected to be completed. I believe she has accepted more clients than she can handle, so if she wants to keep the same amount of clients she needs to hire more paralegals to help but this would likely cut into her financial gain, which is the only reason I can fathom for her not hiring more help for a work load she clearly can't support. I would recommend before hiring this attorney you get in writing what her response time is to various types of work and make it a part of your retainer agreement. This review is not meant to hurt the attorney, just encourage change in her business practice that is something her law office can be proud of.

Communication with this lawyer was poor. She would not answer questions completely, especially email. Sometimes emails would not be answered at all. She charged for every mail. It cost me a fortune to get her to answer questions. If you asked more than one question she would answer only one ques...tion to get you to send another email so she could charge you. Face to face meetings were frustrating as she did not answer questions completely nor took my concerns into consideration.. This lawyer was careless and left things out of legal docs that cost me more money to have them fixed. She prepared for my hearings at the very last minute. Several times she was still gathering info from me in the hall waiting to go before the judge. This lawyer office was very disorganized. On multiple occasions the staff lost payment checks and failed to give copies of documents. I have been requesting a document for months that I have not received a response from the lawyer or her office. I dismissed this lawyer because she left things hanging after the divorce hearing due to her error. This 2 year experience was frustrating and very costly.
