The embassy will likely have your Mom sign a document that relinquishes her green card. Doe she want to do that?

It is possible to travel on an H-1B visa if you have a different employer, but you should bring your new employer's H-1B approval notice

You can try but sometimes it is hard to extend an F-1 status if you have a Form I-485 pending.

If you have both passports you should be able to use the visa as long as it is still valid.
