The landlord can't speak for every landlord every where - just apply at a new facility.
It would be VERY unlikely for that scenario to happen, but yes of course you must be honest.

Probably not unless USCIS sent you a notice that you were considered out of status but talk to the company's attorney to make sure.
Just continue to be patient, I know it is hard but there is no premium processing available for these types of applications.
Normally preconceived intent isn't a huge issue for immediate relatives of USC, but it COULD be - talk to an attorney before applying just in case.
Have you tried filing for an N-600 certificate of citizenship?
When does your current lease expire? That will control when the new terms may be negotiated.
