There has to be a basis for a protective order. Therefore if you wish to seek a new protective order you need to have a reason.

Yes. If you are caught with drugs that charge can be brought at some date in the future.

A judge would impose a sentence which is longer than that suggested by the guidelines if the judge believed it was appropriate to do so.

You should hire an attorney and fight it. If you lose, you can usually still get the diversion option after trial.

Criminal cases are Government vs. Accused. The person believed to the victim of the alleged crime does not have to consent to the prosecution.

The fact that the officer is no longer with the department has nothing to do with the officer's ability to testify about charges that were placed...
