Reckless ticket

I was charged with reckless driving - General, failure to have state inspection and failure to properly display license plates. Mark had a strategy early on for getting the commonwealths attorney to drop and reduce charges. Communication was excellent and always received calls or emails back ...in a timely manner. Highly recommend Mr Bailey so anyone in the northern VA area that needs a lawyer for traffic tickets.

Mark for the win!

I found this law firm through the Off The Record website. I was skeptical at first but it was my first time getting in trouble with law and gave it a try after being convinced with the overwhelming amount of great reviews. My attorney was Mark Bailey and he was absolutely amazing. Communication was g...reat and told me everything I needed to do on my end in order to get the charges to lessen. I did everything I could do in my end and day of court, he explained everything in concise detail and what the defense was willing to do. Long story short, hearing had to be less than a minute and my initial charge was reduced to just a fine and secondary ticket completely thrown out. Can’t thank Mark and these guys here for making it such a simple process!

In Fall, 2021, I received a reckless driving citation for speeding in a 35 MPH zone. Reckless driving charges in VA can be quite serious and have long-lasting ramifications, therefore I made the decision to retain a lawyer. I hired Mark Bailey of Purnell, McKennett & Menke, P.C to represent me and ...to help achieve the most positive outcome possible. From the moment I hired Mark, he was incredibly responsive to all of my questions, concerns, and feedback. Mark ensured he had an appropriate understanding of all of the important context surrounding my case and he clearly presented options to me before proceeding with any course of action. Mark’s communication style is welcoming and flexible. We spoke on the phone, texted, and exchanged emails over a period of two months while my case was in progress. Mark made sure I knew exactly where I stood related to the charges against me and the pros and cons of all available options. Mark used his many years of experience navigating local laws and procedures and was able to work out an agreement to resolve the case with the local prosecutor prior to the scheduled hearing. The agreement reached required that I take an 8 hour safe driving course and pay court costs, which upon completion would result in my citation being dismissed. This was truly the best possible outcome, and I did not set foot in the courtroom. Reckless Driving charge DISMISSED

Mark Bailey got my Reckless Driving charge DISMISSED! I hired Mr. Bailey to deal with my reckless driving by speed (77/55) charge in Fairfax County, VA which is a Class 1 Misdemeanor that is punishable by up to 12 months in jail, a fine of up to $2,500, or both. Once we were in touch, he described... the process and possible outcomes for my case in great detail. Even going so far as to mention how Fairfax County is no longer using state prosecutors for reckless driving charges. Regardless, he asked all the right questions, gave me realistic outcomes, and handled everything in a professional and timely manner. Eventually, on the date of the hearing he was able to get my case DISMISSED! No court costs, no fine, no points, nothing.
