I recently retained The Wilson Law Firm, specifically attorney John Sobchak, to defend me in a preliminary protective order proceeding. 2026 has been an extremely difficult year for me, filled with medical, personal, and family challenges, including an unwanted separation that left me feeling as thou...gh I had lost almost everything. The allegations behind the protective order were completely false and unwarranted. Thankfully, I was able to provide Mr. Sobchak with substantial evidence to support my case, and he successfully defended me. When it was finally over and the weight was lifted from my chest, I realized something: winning the case isn’t what stands out to me most. What I will remember most is the kindness, compassion, and respect Mr. Sobchak showed me throughout the entire process. I have an autoimmune condition that is greatly affected by stress. From the beginning, I felt supported, and I never doubted that he believed in me and my case. On the day of court, he defended me in a way I never expected. I never even had to speak. He protected my rights while also being mindful of my health and well-being. He successfully defended my case using only a small portion of the evidence we had available, and I appreciate that more than he probably realizes. This was never about making another person look bad or causing them harm. It was simply about protecting my rights and defending myself against allegations that were not true. I still wish no ill will toward the other person and sincerely pray they find peace in their life. As someone who never imagined I would find myself in a situation like this—and who has never been in trouble a day in my life—I understand how frightening and overwhelming it can be to suddenly need an attorney. I’m writing this review in hopes that it helps someone else facing a similar situation make that decision. If you’re considering hiring Mr. Sobchak or The Wilson Law Firm, don’t let the fee make you second-guess your decision. It was worth every dollar I spent. The entire office was wonderful. Communication was excellent, and I felt respected, supported, and valued every step of the way. I sincerely pray I never need their services again, but if I do, I know exactly who I will call. They have a client for life.
