Jeffrey D Ahdoot

Mr. Ahdoot's practice primarily focuses on intellectual property litigation, licensing, and counseling, with a particular emphasis on complex patent litigation matters. 

Mr. Ahdoot has experience representing and advising clients in high-stakes IP litigation both in federal court and in post grant proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Ahdoot has litigated patent infringement cases involving a wide range of technologies, including mechanical devices, medical devices, software applications, business methods, electrical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronic procurement methods, digital-image processing, wireless networking systems, internet technology, GPS systems, object tracking and notification systems, and numerous other technologies. Mr. Ahdoot has extensive experience in all stages of litigation from initial investigations through trial and appeal. Mr. Ahdoot has participated in numerous trials, including a patent trial involving numerous complex issues and damages nearing $1 billion.

In addition to patent litigation, Mr. Ahdoot also counsels his clients on a variety of different intellectual property matters, including trademark protection and enforcement, copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, licensing, portfolio development, enforcement, defense, monetization, and other general IP counseling. 

Prior to joining Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig, Mr. Ahdoot worked in the intellectual property groups for several large international law firms. Mr. Ahdoot graduated magna cum laude from Pierce Law. During law school, he was a judicial clerk extern to the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, an intern at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office with the Solicitor's Office, and Senior Editor of IDEA: The Intellectual Property Law Review. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Ahdoot worked as a software engineering consultant for a large international software company.
