Great Attorney and person

Regina was an excellent advocate for my case as a federal employee. To make a long story short, I was a Postal Service employee with 15 years of federal service and 5 years in the U.S Army with a 50% disability rating. I applied and got a job with another federal agency with a veteran’s preference ...and then was put on probation without my knowledge. I was then fired during the probation period. Regina was able to find a lot of crucial information on my case that the agency left out. She was dogged in her pursuit of the truth until the matter was resolved. Not only did I meet a great lawyer but a friend for life. I would highly recommend Regina Markey to anyone needing great representation with work place issues.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I had the great pleasure of working with Regina on an employment and whistleblower related matter. I found her to be a relentless advocate for her client and a highly knowledgable and experienced attorney. Her dedication is inspiring and, after working with her, I have made an effort to refer matters to her because I know the client will be in good hands and I will occasionally reach out to her as a sounding board on some of my own matters because I know I'll receive well-considered advice."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
