She always comes through

Best attorney ever! I have delt with civil and criminal attorneys for years. When I was in trouble with my ex, Elizabeth took my case and destroyed my ex's statements. She outwitted her attorney too. When the ex did the same things year later Elizabeth outdid herself once again!! When it comes to ...peace orders/ protective orders she is the only attorney in Maryland I would recommend. She doesn't judge you and reads right through her opponents BS. As a former stats attorney she knows her way around the court system and has extensive knowledge of who is who and how to act in different county court rooms to achieve your best interests.

Client Review

Four years ago I hired a contractor a friend from work recommended to me. I planned to have him remodel a bathroom. Soon after starting I became uneasy with the workmanship and halted further work. Since I had already paid a good amount towards the work the contractor and I negotiated that he would ...construct a small fence for me. He assured me that he was capable of such a project. To make a long story short, he didn’t build the fence as instructed and actually walked off the job. Since the contractor refused to return any of the funds given to him I hired Ms. Long to represent me. She was able to get me the money I felt he owed me. She also was able to re-leave me of much stress during this experience. I would highly recommend Elizabeth Long in any legal situation.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
