I have defended the State Department in four contractor appeals to the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals relating to New Embassy construction. I have tried and won a case against the D.C. government in the D.C. Contract Appeals Board relating to breach of contract for the Downtown Streetscape Project. I have advised the Government of Pakistan through U.S. A.I.D. as to a multinational financing package for coal-fired power plants for rural electrification.

I have represented the Swiss Government and Embassy, the London Commodity Exchange, London International Financial Futures Exchange, LME, the Bank of England, Banque Populaire Suisse, Ralli Brothers Bankers, S.A., Urangesellschaft mbh, Ferrier Lullin. I advised the Minister of Water and Power of Pakistan as to multinational financing package for Hab River power plants.

I have served as lead litigating class counsel in a major securities fraud and RICO action in the N.D.Ill. relating to CMIC's offerings of mortgage notes and LP units, and recovered $10.52 million. I tried securities fraud case in E.D.Va. and recovered $3.1 million for investors in jury trial. I have participated in numerous insider trading and Foreign Corrupt Practices cases and other securities litigation.

I have represented clients in the U.S. Supreme Court, various U.S. Courts of Appeal, and the D.C. Court of Appeals. For example, I argued and won a decision in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, obtaining a reversal of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland in an insurer bad faith claim, and defeated summary judgment on remand and recovered.
