On March 4, 2013 , I retained this attorney to represent my slip and fall case, which he accepted with no problem. This lawyer refuses to communicate with me, he states that he will call back, because he's in court, if not in court, he's on his way to Rock ville Md., and will call back in a hour, whi...ch never took place. His actions legally, are not professional, I feel left out and this is my case that he's going to capitalize on. Each time he gave his word to return my calls each time has been a failure, he had no intentions on calling back, I have no knowledge of my case and what's going on, other than signing a release form of funds, which he did pick me up from my home because it was so important to him. We went to the bank around the corner from where I reside, had the form signed as well as a notary signing too. This took place on Wednesday October 9, 2013, he pressed me into doing that and stated that I will retrieve my funds within 2 to 3 days, haven't received nothing and he continues to avoid all forms of communication with me. His word has no honor, which I have a serious problem with that form of communication with someone that suppose to represent themselves professional. His legal ethics leaves a lot to be desired. I'm extremely appalled with his lack of interest towards me as a client. I signed the release form October 9, 2013 and still get the run around. I have no trust with this attorney do to his continued deception concerning my case. he's very misleading, which causes me to feel extremely uncomfortable. I feel as though he did not professionally represent my case as I trusted him to do. it's been a month since I signed the release form at the bank, still no funds. Now he's always too busy to talk to me. I don't know what's going on at this point. He have time to work other clients cases and go to court to represent them. This attorney stated that he had made a demand and if the insurance company refuse that demand that he was already prepared to take it to court and fight for my rights as a client, now he tells me that I would have to have money to pay for court fees along with other required fees, which he never mentioned before. That was the purpose of me hiring him, because he stated positive results concerning this case. What should I do concerning this issue ?
