Biography
I am a former attorney for the District of Columbia government. I defended the D.C. government in a range of legal matters including: general civil litigation, personal injury, negligence, police misconduct, employment, medical malpractice and landlord-tenant.
I have been in private practice since 1995. I primarily am engaged in civil litigation in the District of Columbia and Maryland. My practice areas include: personal injury, employment, real estate litigation and criminal defense. I represent clients at all levels from administrative hearings to trials and appeals.
I have served as Chairperson of the District of Columbia Board of Appeals and Review. This was an independent appellate body which handled various administrative appeals.
I am a graduate of Howard University and the George Washington University National Law Center. I am a nationally published legal author and a former adjunct professor.
