I worked as a big-firm trial lawyer doing jury and non-jury trials in large cases, usually about technology issues, in state and federal courts. I also did a stint of government service in a Senate-confirmed presidential appointment as General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Defense. Then I joined a consulting firm, Wilsie Co. LLC, where (more or less) I can keep my own hours.
Wilsie Co provides legal and management consulting services including advice on litigation cases, risk assessments for potential settlement of litigation, case theory and design for courtroom presentations, management of multi-case litigation for corporations, and business management of litigation practice groups for law firms. Wilsie Co also does pro bono litigation work for clients without the means to pay for legal services.
