FAA & EASA Regulatory Compliance, Risk ID/ Mitigation & Contracts

Jason Dickstein is an Aviation attorney that we have hired on numerous occasions. He is someone that we trust with our most critical legal matters. Our organization has hired Jason to provide legal advice on multiple, complex, aviation related acquisitions and transactions over the past decade an...d we have been very happy with his services. This has included acquisitions of FAA and EASA certificated Part 145 Repair Stations, pre-purchase due diligence and transfer of ownership of other aviation related assets including previously approved FAA Type Design data as intellectual property. We also use him for ongoing counsel regarding various domestic & international aviation related trade transactions and other compliance matters. These transactions require extensive knowledge and application of domestic and international aviation regulations, policies and guidance interpretations, and Jason has shown again and again that his knowledge and understanding of these rules is unusually good. He also uses this knowledge to very effectively communicate with government agencies on our behalf and to bring about effective results in our work with regulatory agencies like the FAA. Jason is a straight shooter and is very good at risk identification/mitigation and at effectively communicating concerns, issues and solutions to complex topics and situations. He has helped us to identify compliance risks and hazards, and has helped us use a variety of tools, ranging from contracts to legal compliance systems, to mitigate those risks and hazards. I highly recommend Jason and I look forward to continuing to use his legal services in the future.

His knowledge and counsel have been extremely valuable for our company.

FAA and EASA Regulatory Compliance

Our Company retained Jason Dickstein to help negotiate major issues critical to our Companies future in the Aviation industry. Due to FAA / EASA regulatory Compliance which ended up with our EASA Licenses not being renewed, there with no end in sight, our business was truly in Jeopardy. Jason's knowl...edge of the FAA Regulations, Part 145, and EASA made the difference between very positive outcomes, for if the circumstances had continued we would not be in business today. Jason Dickstein was able to negotiate the differences between our company and the FAA / EASA, with the final result of our EASA License being approved and renewed in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Jason Dickstein to any company or individual that requires help, advise, interpretations, or understanding of any regulatory issue involving the FAA or EASA. Jason's personal knowledge of the regulation saved many hours of case research, we were very satisfied with the total cost and the number of hours billed. Best regards, A Very Satisfied Customer

Poor Response from Mr. Dickstein.

I requested the services of Mr. Dickstein concerning a letter I received from a federal government agency. The letter questioned the quality of an inspection I accomplished at a facility as well as the authority I held that was granted to me by that agency. The letter required a response within 30 ...days. After paying a retainer to Mr. Dickstein, I awaited his response. However I had to remind him one week before the deadline that a response letter was due. Mr. Dickstein's response completely missed an important point that would have made the DOT's accusations a non-issue. The DOT rejected Mr. Dickstein argument which put me in a situation that was far worse then I had been prior to Mr. Dickstein's involvement. Furthermore, after his response was rejected, he wrote to me of several possible ways to remedy the DOT’s action. I did not request this additional information however I was billed for it. I will never ask for Mr. Dickstein services again.
