Advise clients on climate-related legislative and regulatory issues at federal and state levels, including compliance with emissions trading systems and emissions reporting requirements, eligibility for credit under early action programs, financial incentives for deployment of clean technologies and energy efficiency improvements, trade- and competitiveness-related issues, and interplay between federal climate legislation and existing Clean Air Act and other environmental regulatory regimes.

Advise clients on the regulation of greenhouse gases under the Clean Air Act and other Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act issues.

Advise and represent clients at international environmental treaty negotiations and related meetings, including the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer.
