Kenyan McDuffie is the Principal of the Law Office of Kenyan R. McDuffie, PLLC. Prior to founding the firm, Mr. McDuffie worked as a Trial Attorney for the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. McDuffie began his legal career as a judicial law clerk for an Associate Judge on the 7th Judicial Circuit of Maryland.
Mr. McDuffie graduated summa cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Community Development. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of The University of Maryland Journal of Race, Religion, Gender, and Class. During law school, Mr. McDuffie interned for a judge at the District of Columbia Superior Court as well as with the District of Columbia Public Defender Service and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. Between college and law school, Mr. McDuffie worked on the staff of Eleanor Holmes Norton, the District of Columbia's Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mr. McDuffie is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Washington Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the National Bar Association, and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
