Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and having personally experienced the U.S. immigration process, Attorney Bijoux Ngwanda understands the challenges, uncertainty, and hope that come with building a new life in the United States of America. Her personal journey, multilingual background, and legal experience allow her to provide compassionate immigration guidance for individuals, families, students, employers, employees, crime victims, and religious workers.
Our first case involved a young man who was forced to leave the U.S. with his mother after his mother divorced his stepfather. He was then separated from his other siblings for a very long time. Although he had a green card at a young age, staying outside the U.S. for almost 1 decade created a presumption of abandonment of residency. Attorney Bijoux Ngwanda helped him respond to the intent-to-deny notice for his green card renewal I-90 petition. The green card was then renewed, and the young man is now a U.S. citizen, has since reunited with his other siblings, and is currently petitioning for his mother. Bijoux Ngwanda Law Office, PLLC, will always fight for family reunification. We want to see families reunite and stay together.
Bijoux is licensed in the State of Kentucky, Maryland, the District Of Columbia, the United States District and Banckrupcy Courts for the District of Columbia and the United States Disctrict Court for the District of Maryland.

The best lawyer by far for my case
She is honest and analyze my case before accepting it. She made me comfortable to be able to tell her everything since day 1 of my 40 years in the USA. She assured me that I met all the requirements needed to qualify for EB2 NIW. And at the same time qualify to adjust status with I485i. Submitted app...
"I endorse this lawyer. Ms. Ngwanda is a dedicated and zealous attorney who is well knowledgeable in her field of immigration law. She prides herself in staying up to date and informed with immigration policies as they changes, which is a really important quality to have in an immigration attorney. Ms. Ngwanda is also multilingual, fluent in at least 4 languages including English, French, Lingala, Kikongo, and working proficiency in German. She is an immigrant herself so she understands first-hand the immigration experience, which helps to inform her advocacy for her clients."
