Stephanie Louise Johnson

Stephanie Johnson represents clients in the District of Columbia and Maryland in criminal, appellate, post-conviction, landlord/tenant, and civil litigation matters.  She has a wide array of experience in criminal, appellate, and landlord/tenant matters.  Stephanie is barred in both the District of Columbia and Maryland.  She graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and  Howard University School of Law.

Previously, Stephanie worked at a small law firm in Prince George’s County, Maryland as an associate attorney.   While in that position she gained several years of experience in landlord and tenant, real property, criminal defense, general litigation and appellate matters. Stephanie’s appellate and trial advocacy has proven successful before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the District Court of Anne Arundel County, and the Superior Court of the District of Columbia on several occasions. Her accomplishments and experience recently earned her appointments on the CJA panels for the Superior Court for the District of Columbia and the District of Columbia's Court of Appeals.
