D. DeMasi review

Deborah has been my counsel for a number of matters in the energy business. Because of her deep and varied experiences, she has the keen ability to ask the tough questions upfront that get to the core of the matter if the proposed deal would be able to secure financing in the ever changing credit ma...rkets. This skill identifies any gaps that need to be filled and avoids wasting time and legal fees if the project were to be ultimately rejected by the credit markets. I have also employed her on engagements where we were the fuel supplier to an entity that we knew were depending on non-recourse project financing. This was done so that we could avoid being locked into a fuel supply that could be cancelled because the project would not be able to secure construction fiancing.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
