Let's be honest, no one chooses to end up in a custody battle... & if we could do it all over again, we would probably make better choices to get along a little easier. I will tell you though- if your circumstances find you in an unavoidable custody battle in desperate need of legal assistance & s...omeone who will relentlessly work for the best possible outcome for you & your family; this is the sole individual to choose for your representation. There is no adequate way to describe the levels of "out of control" a parent may feel when approaching the battleground of custody litigation. Ed Curley has a compassionate & kind while incredibly well-informed, authoritative air in both his demeanor & action that miraculously makes one feel at ease. His obvious dominance both in the actual book-study of law & intellectual presence in handling litigation & courtroom situations is truly priceless. I hope to never have to repeat this series of events again... I also truly hope that should any parent have to go through this situation, they are smart enough to make one call, one time & put their minds at ease for the duration of the process. I would say Ed Curley is the best family law attorney in De and when voted one of the top attorneys in Delaware, I can totally agree with that. We hired Ed to handle a permanent guardianship of our granddaughter and I can't begin to state how knowledgeable he was, he was also compassionate in getting... us through it. He never ignored a phone call, email, or concern we may have had. He always explained and did what was not only what we wanted, but at the best interest of the child.
