Let's be honest, no one chooses to end up in a custody battle... & if we could do it all over again, we would probably make better choices to get along a little easier. I will tell you though- if your circumstances find you in an unavoidable custody battle in desperate need of legal assistance & s...omeone who will relentlessly work for the best possible outcome for you & your family; this is the sole individual to choose for your representation. There is no adequate way to describe the levels of "out of control" a parent may feel when approaching the battleground of custody litigation. Ed Curley has a compassionate & kind while incredibly well-informed, authoritative air in both his demeanor & action that miraculously makes one feel at ease. His obvious dominance both in the actual book-study of law & intellectual presence in handling litigation & courtroom situations is truly priceless. I hope to never have to repeat this series of events again... I would say Ed Curley is the best family law attorney in De and when voted one of the top attorneys in Delaware, I can totally agree with that. We hired Ed to handle a permanent guardianship of our granddaughter and I can't begin to state how knowledgeable he was, he was also compassionate in getting... us through it. He never ignored a phone call, email, or concern we may have had. He always explained and did what was not only what we wanted, but at the best interest of the child. Ed stepped in 11 months into my highly contentious divorce and custody case when my original attorney made a career change.
