OUTCOME: State entered Nolle Prosequi as to all Murder charges, Client pled Guilty to unrelated Robbery and Weapon offenses

Client was charged with Capital Murder First Degree and several Armed Robberies that all occurred during the same night/early morning. The State was seeking the death penalty for our client. After our ... own investigation and thorough review of the evidence, it became apparent to the defense that the two cases were unrelated and that the client was innocent of the murder charges. The State agreed to re-open its murder investigation one month before trial began and the case was resolved the day trial was to begin.
