What if a person hits you with their car while they're being chased by police, will anybody's insurance cover it?

I had a client get hit by a driver fleeing the police (and a prior accident). His insurance paid up, as I recall, but it was a few years back.

Well, those are your options. Either give them the info so your mom's rate doesn't go up, or stand on your principles and your mom's rate goes up...

Once the injury occurs, you generally can't restructure assets to protect them. Any changes made will be considered a sham and not honored....
