My law practice focuses on litigating matters involving toxic torts, product liability, personal injury, construction law, trademark infringement, breach of contract and breach of warranty.  I have represented major corporations in cases involving asbestos and benzene exposure, trademark infringement, railroad accidents, and product defect injuries.  I have represented private individuals regarding residential construction defects and building code violations.  My work with clients also includes representation in intellectual property and music licensing, and before administrative agencies in the State of Delaware such as the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers.  I also have experience with trademark registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, copyright registration with the United State Copyright Office, and internet domain name disputes before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Prior to entering the practice of law I was a licensed professional engineer, and acquired extensive industry and business experience as a project manager for Sunoco, Inc., managing major engineering and construction projects at Sunoco’s petroleum refineries.  In that capacity I planned, designed and managed multimillion-dollar projects involving process piping, heat transfer, pressure vessels, process controls, computer-controlled systems, and water and air pollution control.
