Fraudulently concealing assets to avoid a judgment

OUTCOME: The defendants paid the full judgment, with interest and attorneys fees, costs and sanctions. The total recovery was slightly less than $700,000.00.

Plaintiff obtained a judgment against a family-owned corporation for sexual harassment of $112,000.00. The Defendant corporation and family members tried to avoid paying the judgment by hiding assets, ... shutting down the old business and setting up an identical new business, filing a bankruptcy (that was dismissed) and abusing court procedures. The litigation to collect the sexual harassment judgment lasted 5 years, but the Plaintiff made a full recovery.
