Years Later, the Same Complaints Continue

I originally left a review 2 years ago after my experience with Ms. Molly Kleinfelter as a custody master. I recently came back to this page after reviewing some of my old custody paperwork, and I was stunned to see that the same types of complaints have continued to appear year after year. My chi...ld has now aged out of the custody system, thank God, so I have nothing left to gain from writing this. But seeing remarkably similar complaints spanning roughly five years is highly concerning. At some point, Berks County Court should take a serious look at why so many people are describing similar experiences with the same person in a position that holds enormous power over families and children. My child's mother and I have disagreed on plenty over the years, but one thing we actually agreed on was that neither of us liked our experience with “Ms.” Molly. That alone should say something. Looking back at my paperwork only reinforced why I wrote my original review. Family court is already stressful enough. Parents deserve to be heard, treated with basic professionalism and dignity, and given a fair opportunity to present their case. A custody master isn't dealing with criminals; she is dealing with parents and children whose lives can be significantly affected by what happens in that room. One angry review can be dismissed. Even a few can be dismissed. But when similar complaints continue appearing across multiple years, the pattern itself deserves attention. Berks County Court should be paying attention.

Protected my abuser and implied I should have stayed with him and not clarified custody to protect the child

There is only one positive review here and it’s planted. This woman is dismissive, insulting, and partial. She kept repeating “actions have consequences” and my action was leaving an abusive environment to protect my child and filing for custody because he had disappeared. She implied I needed to k...eep my child and myself under abusive conditions for the sake of avoiding court? Asinine.

Every other review is accurate

This person was dismissive of my concerns about my abuser and actually stated, if he gets her sick he’ll have to take care of her completely dismissive of the infant’s pain and lack of safety. Refused to accept evidence and spoke down to me before I even spoke a second sentence. I started the pro...cess of custody bc the father disappeared and suddenly wanted custody despite not being stable or demonstrating he can be safe. Disgusting behavior and I fear for the welfare of children that come across her desk because she does not look at evidence and sides with the defendant.

Rude, demeaning, shouldn’t be in a position of power

Had her for a child support conference, she threatened to silence me in “her court room”, yelled and demeaned me the entire hearing, sided with the abusive party. Didn’t follow the rules of the court allowed my child’s father to smirk laugh and taunt me while threatening to detain me. I read all the ...previous reviews and every single one of them has occurred during my hearing. Someone get this woman out of the court house destroying lives.

Pray

Please pray this obtuse women never becomes a judge. Court is stressful enough without a support master that doesn't know the law and has no problem breaking it.
