Jon Peter Landis

Attorney J. Peter Landis is a graduate of Villanova University and Villanova University School of Law. Following his graduation from Villanova School of Law in 1980, Pete served as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas J. Eshelman of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas until 1983. Since 1983, Pete has been continuously in private practice in Berks County and concentrates his practice on the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, civil litigation, unemployment compensation, labor relations and domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody and support cases. Pete is admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Tax Court. He has offered representation to clients throughout eastern Pennsylvania in a wide variety of proceedings and tribunals, including hearings before magisterial district courts, hearings and trials before the Courts of Common Pleas, master’s hearings in divorce, custody and support proceedings, hearings before worker’s compensation judges and unemployment compensation referees as well as proceedings before the Pennsylvania Worker’s Compensation Appeal Board, the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board of Review, the Pennsylvania Civil Service Commission and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Pete has also represented clients at all levels of the Pennsylvania appellate courts, including appearances before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is currently a member of the Berks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association and has been the solicitor for the Berks County Coroner’s Office from February of 2012 to the present.
