Defendant Driver was driving south on Interstate 81 when he started to have mechanical problems with his trailer wheels. Unfortunately, his wheel and axle heated up due to being poorly maintained with ... out proper levels of oil lubrication and came off his trailer. The wheel rolled across Interstate 81 and hit our client head on causing him to lose control and suffer injuries. There was evidence that the wheel and hub assembly and components were not properly maintained and lacked proper maintenance to prevent failure and wheel off lose.
