Fixing another attorney's mess

OUTCOME: Mixed

This was a mix of cases involving custody, guardianship and adoption. My client had hired an attorney who let her down. He didn't return phone calls and didn't file necessary paperwork. In the end, we ... won the battle for guardianship and were able to avoid a power of attorney. We were also able to extend visitation and reunification to ensure the best interest of the child was met.
